We offer two prestigious postgraduate research programmes: the two‑year MSc by Research and the three‑year DPhil.
Both programmes provide an exceptional opportunity to conduct original, independent research in a specialised area of your choice, guided by world‑leading experts in women’s and reproductive health. You’ll develop advanced research skills, contribute to cutting‑edge scientific discovery, and work within one of the most influential academic departments in the field.
This programme is participating in Black Academic Futures via the Medical Sciences Division's guarantee of at least 10 places per year across its doctoral programmes for the next four years' intakes of DPhil students.

graduate programme scholarships
For the 2026/27 Post Graduate Student intake we will be awarding a University Clarendon scholarship. These scholarships cover student fees and provides a living expenses stipend.
In addition, we will also be offering two NDWRH scholarships providing a 50% reduction in course fees
