Cancer
Our Cancer theme within the Women's & Reproductive Health department covers the following research groups: HPV research (developing therapeutics to eradicate HPV infections in women), Nanoparticles in Cancer (focussing on the use of nanoparticles in cancer for therapy, imaging or drug delivery), and Ovarian Cancer (exploring the molecular mechanisms that drive Ovarian Cancer cell growth and examining which targeted therapies can be utilised to improve treatment).
The Cancer theme is dedicated to advancing research across a broad spectrum of oncology topics, with a particular focus on cervical and ovarian cancer, innovative treatments targeting metabolism, nanoparticle-based therapies, and the application of artificial intelligence in gynaecologic oncology.
