Research

Xiang Jun Wang is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the groups of Prof. Conrad and Prof. Rahimi. Her work focuses on analysing large-scale population health data to study cardiovascular disease epidemiology, disease trajectories, and risk factors. She completed her PhD at Erasmus Medical Center, where she investigated Plant-based diets and cardiometabolic health: potential underlying mechanism from a population-based multi-omics perspective. Her research background spans epidemiology, biostatistics, nutrition, public health and clinical medicine, with experience in big data modelling, omics research, meta-analysis, and Mendelian randomization.
