Tom Ibbotson

I manage the department’s Finance Team and supervise the day to day finance processes and the other general administrative support that the team provides. This role includes liaising with the Medical Sciences Division Finance Team, MSD IT, Estates, and the Finance Division as well as with external suppliers.

 As deputy to Lesa Levett, Head of Administration & Finance, I assist with other aspects of the department’s operations as required and deputise for her in her absence.

The Finance Team (Simon Lewington and Lesley Cockrem) is part of the departmental Professional Services Team that helps to facilitate the smooth running of the department. We are based on Level 3 of the Women's Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and, before I joined the department in October 2012, I have worked in administration and finance for organizations ranging from a large co-operative group to a small TV production company.
