Maeve Janecka

DPhil Student

I am a first-year DPhil student in the EndoCare group, under the supervision of Dr. Jen Southcombe, Dr. Rebecca Dragovic, and Dr. Christian Becker. My research focuses on the use of endometriosis organoid platforms for drug screening. I'm also interested in biomaterials, extracellular vesicles, and transcriptomics.

Prior to starting at the University of Oxford, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA.

I am always open to getting involved in patient outreach initiatives and research collaborations. Science communication is a passion for me, and I aim to help make research findings accessible for the public.
