DPhil Student

I am currently a second year DPhil student in the EndoCare group, under the supervision of Dr. Jen Southcombe, Prof Ingrid Granne, Prof Christian Becker and Dr. Pedro Melo. My research investigates the cellular and immune mechanisms through which progesterone contributes to impaired endometrial function, focusing on progesterone resistance in endometriosis and early miscarriage.

Prior to starting at the University of Oxford, I received an honours Bachelor of Science in immunology and global health from the University of Toronto, Canada. I then worked as a laboratory technician the CReATe Fertility Centre in Toronto in the andrology department. All together - my experiences studying immunology, and witnessing the struggles that women with reproductive disorders face in achieving pregnancy and maintaining a high quality of life motivated my pursuit of reproductive immunology at the University of Oxford.

My research interests extend to various aspects of immunology, improving assisted reproductive techniques, fertility, and the vaginal microbiome.
