Julie Abraham

BMBS, MPH

I am a first year part-time DPhil student in Women's and Reproductive Health at the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health. I am supervised by Professor Jane Hirst. My research focusses on investigating the impact of extreme heat and humidity on fetal heart rates in India.

My background is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and a Master of Public Health, with a specialisation in Global health at the University of Exeter. I also work as a resident doctor within the NHS, and have a keen interest in maternal health and improving maternal and children's health in low- and middle- income countries.
