Research Midwife

I joined the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health as a research midwife for the Clinical Research Group in October 2023. Before this, I worked as a clinical midwife within Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust in a variety of different settings including community and Delivery Suite. I qualified as a midwife in 2021, graduating from Oxford Brookes University.

Within the Clinical Research Group, I am currently involved in recruiting to various studies for example the Oxford Placental UltraSound Study (OxPLUS). This research will help to develop a new screening tool for babies at risk of not growing well. Other examples include CAIFE (Clinical Artificial Intelligence Fetal Echocardiogrpahy) and CaPE (Calcium supplementation for prevention of pre-eclampsia in high risk women).
