I have joined the Department in 2024 as a Clinical Research Assistant for the Spinal Muscular Atrophy project in the Clinical Research Group (formerly OSPREA) to provide support with recruitment and  administrative tasks.

The aim of this research study is to evaluate the uptake and feasibility of newborn genetic screening for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Previously I worked at Oxford Biomedica, a cell and gene therapy company developing lentiviral vectors completing an apprenticeship as a Level 5 Technician Scientist in Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products.
