Debbie has over 19 years of clinical research experience working in the roles of administrator, clinical research associate, project manager, trial manager and self-employed consultant.
Her experience has been gained mostly within the pharmaceutical industry working on large multi-centre Phase II and III CT-IMP trials in a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, infectious diseases and urology. She has also been involved in the design and implementation of interactive technology systems for centrally controlled patient randomisation and trial supply management. In 2016 she joined the department to work on the Support-HF2 trial investigating the use of remote monitoring to manage patients with heart failure.
Debbie is currently working with Kazem Rahimi on a new research programme investigating the use of blood pressure-lowering treatment in older patients with multiple chronic diseases.
