Catherine Daw

Data Assistant

I provide ad hoc data entry and administrative support for the department's researchers.

Since March 2019, I have been working with Dr Christoffer Nellåker's team at the Big Data Institute. With a small group of other data assistants, I have been building a database of facial images and their associated rare diseases. Ultimately, this database will help machine learning algorithms to diagnose rare genetic disorders more accurately.
