Asselzhan Sarbalina

BSc (Hons), MD, MPH

DPhil Student, Researcher.

I am now a full-time student, reading for a DPhil in Women’s and Reproductive.

Prior to Dphil, I obtained my bachelor degree in General Medicine and fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I then completed a Master of Science in Health.

Initially, I worked as an OB/GYN at a maternity unit, and my prior responsibility was to provide personalised care through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Although I was on the front lines during the COVID pandemic, and provided professional care for pregnant women with severe complications.

As a health professional with extensive work experience, I have developed an interest in reproductive health. My prior goal is to be professionally qualified in my field in order to be able to give every woman a chance to experience the happiness of healthy motherhood.
