In this review we will study CD8+ T cells in endometriosis. We will summarize existing studies on CD8+ T cells in peripheral blood, peritoneal fluid, eutopic, ectopic endometrium and other relevant tissues of patients with endometriosis and controls. We will investigate whether these cells could play a role in the pathophysiology of the disease or have any association with the progression of disease characteristics.
