The Panel

Dr Victoria Kinkaid (Chair) 

Award-winning military doctor, podcaster and women’s health researcher. Victoria’s career spans teaching and research across reproductive and women’s health - equipping both patients and professionals with knowledge, insight and empowerment.

 

Dr Neda Taghinejadi

Leads the undergraduate Women’s & Reproductive Health programme at the University of Oxford and is a Consultant in Community Sexual & Reproductive Health at Oxford University Hospitals. Her work spans genitourinary medicine, contraception, early pregnancy, and community gynaecology, with research interests in FemTech, intra-uterine contraception, and medical education.

 

Dr Ingrid Granne 

Deputy Head of the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford; Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Reproductive Medicine. Dr Granne is a leading authority in reproductive health, with expertise in endometrial biology, recurrent miscarriage, implantation failure, and the long-term impacts of pregnancy.

 

Dr Sharon Dixon 

Recognised as a leading expert in primary care and adolescent menstrual health, with a specialist research focus on dysmenorrhoea and endometriosis. She has additionally contributed significantly to safeguarding, female genital mutilation (FGM) initiatives, and FemTech equity-in-research projects.

 

Dr Gbemi David-West

Gbemi has made an outstanding contribution to our department in her role as Clinical Teaching Fellow within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology team. Her dedication to medical education and her specialist focus on women’s health inequalities, as well as equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), are truly commendable.

 

Dr Kate Whitehouse  

Surgeon at MSI Reproductive Choices and consultant at World Health Organization. An authority on abortion research, especially pain and experience during abortion care. Her expertise spans surgical and medical abortion, developing clinical-guidelines and evidence-based practice.
