Congratulations to Celine Jones (Laboratory Manager for NDOG’s MSc in Clinical Embryology) who has been elected to the Executive Committee of the British Andrology Society.

Nuffield Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology

The Society is multi-disciplinary, with members from Reproductive Biology, Endocrinology, Cytology, Microbiology, Embryology, Clinical Urology, Gynaecology and Veterinary Medicine. 

Key areas of interest include spermatogenesis; semen analyses; sperm function; fertilisation; contraception; cryopreservation (sperm / fertility preservation) and improving outcomes of fertility treatment.

Celine Jones has been Laboratory Manager for NDOG’s MSc in Clinical Embryology since 2008 and she played an instrumental role in setting up the course. In addition to her teaching and managerial duties for the MSc, she undertakes research into cellular, biochemical and molecular mechanisms of oocyte activation at fertilisation. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, member of the Society for Reproduction and Fertility and a member of the Royal Microscopy Society.
