We are delighted to let you know that the Medical Sciences Division Board has conferred the title of Associate Professor on Katy Vincent, Senior Pain Fellow, and Roberto Tozzi, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer.

Prof Vincent was recognised for her research into the role played by the central nervous system in generating and maintaining pain in women, and Prof Tozzi for his role in the development of radical surgical approaches to the treatment of gynaecological cancers.

Prof Kennedy said: "We congratulate both Katy and Roberto on their success and their substantial contribution to the department’s research output".
