“Taking part in research was a good experience. The staff were outstanding and always open to any questions I had. The appointments I had were few, really, and I always felt well looked after.”  C.P, OSPREA RESEARCH PARTICIPANT

If you would like to find out more about taking part in research with the OSPREA Research Centre please call us on 01865 221107. Alternatively please fill out the contact form below.

We will talk through the studies you may be eligible for and answer any questions you may have. You do not need to have a particular study in mind. Alternatively, if you know which study you are particularly interested in, please feel free to contact the lead midwife or study team for the project (see Current Trials page).

If you are attending the Ultrasound Department at the John Radcliffe Hospital for a dating and/or nuchal screening scan you may be approached by a research midwife to see if you would like to know more about the research studies we are doing. If you are not approached and would like to find out more, please speak to the receptionist or your sonographer, who will be able to see if a member of research staff is available to see you in person.

The Oxford Safer Pregnancy Alliance (OSPREA) is a team of doctors, scientists, researchers, midwives, nurses and support staff who work together with women to lead research into women’s health in the areas of reproduction, obstetrics and gynaecology. We conduct high quality studies that help improve the care of women before pregnancy, and women and their babies during and after pregnancy.

Please note registering your initial interest and sending us your contact details does not commit you to involvement in any way. Your contact details will not be used for any other purpose.
