About the AIMDay
On 22nd March 2022, The University of Oxford hosted an AIMday in Women's Health at St Anne's College in Oxford. The key objective was to match the needs of organisations for new knowledge with academic expertise.
This innovative networking event brought together 71 academic and clinical researchers with 12 external companies working in the field, to collaborate on the most pressing challenges facing Women's Health such as;
How can we make preeclampsia history within this decade? What is the role of the vaginal microbiome in fertility and pregnancy outcome? and How can mobile apps help in providing better support in women’s health?
All workshops were debated with the ultimate goal of improving healthcare diagnoses & treatments for women and reproductive health.

External companies each submitted a question that would benefit from academic input and insight which formed a 1-hour workshop hosted by the company.
On the day, we were joined by a great group of bloggers (early career researchers and students from the University of Oxford) who shared their thoughts from the fruitful discussions and engagement between academics and industry - you can read these in our interactive blog book below. Just click on the arrow on the first page and flick through all the sessions from the AIMday. (Or if you prefer you can download it here).
Thanks to all our great bloggers for your participation!
