Clinical Research Fellowships
CLINICAL research FELLOWSHIPS
The department currently has 11 Clinical Research Fellows.
Clinical Research Fellowships are suitable for candidates interested in consolidating their clinical skills and those acquiring a year’s experience of clinical research in a world-class academic unit (extendable to 2 years with satisfactory progress).
The Fellowships offer a unique opportunity to develop skills in research methodology and, depending on their interests, to receive clinical training (for example, in obstetric ultrasound) in a research active environment, working on one of the department’s many established national or international research projects.
Clinical Research Fellows responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine, day-time, obstetric duties at the Horton General Hospital, Banbury (50% time).
- Carry out clinical research in the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health
(50% time) under the direct supervision of senior academic staff in the department. - On-call and out-of-hours responsibilities - expected to contribute (with 100% commitment) to on-call duties, at the Horton General Hospital, Banbury.
Any new posts for Clinical Research Fellowships will be advertised on this website's recruitment pages as well as the University of Oxford jobs website.
