This special talk on Podcasts for Public Engagement will be held on Tuesday 26th July 1pm via Zoom only and will be presented by our final year DPhil students Danielle Perro and Magda Marečková.

Danielle and Magda both study Endometriosis in our department. Danielle’s work explores ways that we can better characterise endometriosis-associated pain, while Magda is interested in understanding what role different cells play in endometriosis development. Raising Endometriosis awareness, talking about reproductive health and making science accessible to everyone is something they are both very passionate about. Last year they launched their own podcast series called Unheard of – The hidden voice of Endometriosis and you can listen to the episodes via any of the platforms below:

On Tuesday 26th July 1pm, they will share their podcast journey, how effective it has been as a public engagement tool and answer your questions about how you could create your own podcast to promote your research.
