With the deadline for 2026 entry fast approaching, the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health (NDWRH) is inviting prospective students to attend three upcoming virtual open events. These sessions will provide an opportunity to explore two new Oxford University postgraduate courses launching in 2026: the MSc in Reproductive Genetics and the MSc in Global Women’s Health, alongside the department’s well-established MSc in Clinical Embryology.

Course and Event Details

MSc in Reproductive Genetics

Developed in response to the growing demand for expertise in this rapidly evolving field, the MSc in Reproductive Genetics is designed for graduates, scientists and clinicians with backgrounds in Genetics, Biomedical Sciences or Medicine. The course combines rigorous theoretical teaching with practical training in reproduction, pregnancy and genetic technologies, as well as patient counselling. It will be based at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences (IRS), alongside the Department’s well-established MSc in Clinical Embryology.

MSc in Global Women’s Health

This innovative two-year, part-time programme is delivered primarily online, with two one-week residential sessions in Oxford. Designed for both clinicians and non-clinicians, the MSc in Global Women’s Health offers expert-led modules with a strong emphasis on advocacy, research and leadership. The course provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of women’s health in a global context. Its online and part-time format enhances accessibility for students worldwide who are balancing professional or personal commitments.

MSc in Clinical Embryology

This well-established intensive, one-year residential programme is delivered at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences (IRS) and has trained over 300 graduates to date. The course offers extensive practical training alongside advanced theoretical teaching in human biology, embryology, infertility and assisted reproductive technologies.
