I joined NDWRH as research nurse/midwife in 2007. I spent several years based at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences building, involved with research studies mainly focused on causes of infertility, reproductive failure and fertility treatments themselves.
My PhD was an ethnographic study of infertile couples as they started medical treatments, including IVF, to help their situation. I am particularly interested in using qualitative methodologies as an alternative research paradigm, for example in investigating patient experiences.
