Alexandra is a Research Assistant at the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health, working under the supervision of Prof. Nathalie Conrad. Her research uses UK Biobank data to investigate the role of blood lipid markers in heart failure across different disease subtypes.
Alexandra completed her undergraduate degree in Public Health at Brown University before moving to Oxford, where she received her MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology. Her dissertation was undertaken at Mass General Brigham and examined heart failure phenotyping models across demographic subgroups and input types. She will be doing her DPhil in the department focusing on cardiovascular inequalities in the UK.
