Oxford-India Health Research Facilitator, The George Institute UK
As part of the George Institute for Global Health, Premjith facilitates the running of the Oxford-India Health Research Network (OIHRN), a voluntary and informal network of India focussed researchers and students, at Oxford. His other responsibilities include research facilitation, and co-ordination of communications for the Institute.
Premjith has several years of experience working closely with the senior management of the National Polio Surveillance Project, which is a collaborative initiative of the World Health Organisation and the Government of India, in planning and implementing mass immunisation campaigns and community mobilisation activities in different parts of India. Following this, Premjith worked as a research administrator at the Centre for Chronic Disease Control, at New Delhi, India.
