Munuse Savash

DPhil Student

  • PI Group: Prof Dagan Wells

I graduated from Westminster University, London with a first class honours in Biological Science and completed an MSc in Clinical Embryology at Oxford University.  In my final year of my undergraduate degree, I was introduced to CRISPR gene editing which resulted in my ambition to become a researcher within the field.

I am currently a second year DPhil student in the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health based at Juno Genetics under the supervision of Dr Dagan Wells.  My DPhil project aims to correct aneuploidy cells lines and human embryos with the use of CRISPR by targeting and deleting entire chromosomes.
