BSc (Hons), MSc (Oxon)

DPhil Student

I am a second year DPhil student in the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health (NDWRH), based in the Magdalen Centre of Oxford Science Park. My project is funded by a joint Clarendon - NWDRH - Brasenose College Scholarship, and I am under the supervision of Dr. Dagan Wells.

My DPhil project aims to assess the potential use of the blastocoel fluid of blastocyst stage embryos, or the spent culture media during IVF, as sources of genetic material for non-invasive preimplantation genetic testing of aneuploidy (PGT-A) and diagnosis (PGD).

Prior to commencing the DPhil, I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (Reproductive Biology) from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford.
