BSc (Hons), MSc (Oxon)
I am a first year DPhil student in the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (NDOG), based at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences. My project is funded by a joint Clarendon - NDOG - Brasenose College Scholarship, and I am under the supervision of Dr. Dagan Wells.
My DPhil project aims to assess the potential use of the blastocoele fluid of blastocyst stage embryos, or the spent culture media during IVF, as sources of genetic material for non-invasive preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and screening (PGS).
Prior to commencing the DPhil, I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (Reproductive Biology) from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford.
