John Tolladay

Postdoctoral Researcher in Big Data for Fetal Monitoring in Labour

  • PI group: Assoc. Prof Antoniya Georgieva

I am a physicist working as part of a multi-disciplinary research team. We are developing systems to train and support clinical staff working in labour wards. My work focuses on data analysis and machine learning methods applied to cardiotocography signals acquired during child-birth. I am also assisting in the development of a tool that quantifies the risk of severe birth outcomes during the initial stages of labour.
