I am a DPhil student at the Department of Women's and Reproductive Health. My supervisors are Dr Krina Zondervan, Dr Katy Vincent and Dr Nilufer Rahmioglu. My current project involves computational research into common genomic pathways between chronic pain conditions, with a particular focus on endometriosis.
MSci in Biomedical Sciences, Newcastle University (2016-2020)
I was awarded the Joan Curtis Prize and Top Project Award at Newcastle University for my Master's project: "Connecting regulatory regions and genes in inflammatory bowel disease". For the same project, I was also nominated for the Royal Society of Biology Undergraduate of the Year Prize.
I was awarded Wellcome Trust Vacation Scholarship for my summer research project between my second and third year of MSci in Biomedical Sciences, at Newcastle University. I also received NCL+ Advanced Award in Research for the same project.
