DPhil Student & Student Committee Social Rep

  • PI Group: Dr Manu Vatish

I achieved a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Brunel University London. During this time, I undertook a project entitled ‘Differential gene expression in ovarian cancer patients’, and my research into mTOR inhibitors contributed to a research paper that was published in January 2019. I have since worked part-time as an Academic Visitor within the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health.

I am now a full-time student, reading for a DPhil in Women’s and Reproductive Health, under the supervision of Professor Manu Vatish and Dr Wei Zhang. My research project focuses on targeting placental tissue with novel drug delivery methods to improve bioenergetics in Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR).
