Dhruti Babariya

DPhil Student

I am a second year DPhil student at the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, supervised by Dr Dagan Wells. I am based at the Reprogenetics lab in Institute of Reproductive Sciences, Oxford. My DPhil is funded by the Clarendon scholarship.

My project broadly investigates the genetic and epigenetic factors responsible for negative IVF outcome. My research also involves exploring the incidence of epigenetic alterations in early human embryos, a factor that has given some cause for concern in the context of IVF treatment.

Prior to my DPhil, I have completed a B.Tech degree in Biotechnology at Amity University, India and an MSc in Clinical Embryology at the University of Oxford.
