Biography
I am a final-year DPhil candidate in the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health supervised by Prof. Helen Townley. Our research lab is based in the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT), Begbroke Science Park of University of Oxford.
My research mainly focuses on developing a unique dual functional theranostic nanoprobe which could kill the cancer cells efficiently and real-time monitor the therapeutic effect non-invasively. My research aim is to provide a practical solution for cancer theranostic from bench to bed based on the nanobiotechnology.
My DPhil is funded by the University of Oxford-China Scholarship Council Scholarships.
Before starting the DPhil, I obtained a BSc in Biotechnology degree at Jinan University, China (2012-2016) and a Master in Biotechnology Research Extensive degree at University of Queensland, Australia (2016-2018). From Dec.2016 to Jun.2018, I have conducted my master's research project full time in the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) supervised by Dr. Run Zhang and Prof. Zhiping Xu.
