The ICARIS trial, published in The Lancet journal EClinical Medicine was a collaboration between Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford and the University of Queensland, Australia. The research team say that their research proves that water injections are simple, effective and safe, and have no effect on birth outcomes.
