Ashley Younger

Ashley Younger is a second year MSc by Research in Women’s and Reproductive Health student. Her research interests center broadly around contributors to adverse perinatal outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Ashley’s work within the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in pregnancy screening and is supervised by Dr. Aris Papageorghiou and Dr. Jane Hirst.
Ashley received her BA from Duke University and her MSN degree from Boston College. She received her MPH degree in Global Health from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to attending Oxford, Ashley completed a PhD at the University of California, San Francisco. Her dissertation work evaluated the effects of household air pollution on adverse birth outcomes relying on data from the Household Air Pollution Intervention Network (HAPIN) Trial.
