Determining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the physical and mental health of people with endometriosis

Scientists at the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health (University of Oxford), together with Endometriosis UK are investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people with endometriosis. The survey was open for 4 weeks and available in 5 languages (English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese). We had a fantastic response to the survey from people around the world and are currently analysing the data. We will post a summary of the results here as soon as they are available.

Endometriosis CaRe Centre - COVID-19 Advice

The COVID-19 pandemic is a source of significant worry and uncertainty for everyone and we understand that your medical care may have been affected. We have therefore put together resources to provide the current recommendations on medical treatments and to offer some strategies for the management of some of the associated symptoms. You can view the advice here, or download a PDF for offline viewing here.

We have also created a pelvic exercise programme to help rebalance some of the muscles we know become dysfunctional in some patients with endometriosis. You can download a PDF of the pelvic exercise leaflet here.

Please let us know if there is anything you feel is not covered adequately and we can update the resource.
